Thinking about taking my son's team to Bear Creek for a tournament next weekend. Has anyone played at the fields there? Just looking for information. Park quality...restaurants close, etc. Thanks in advance.

The fields at the park are not bad. Probably solidly in the middle of the fields that my kids have played at. Bear Creek Park is a county park so there is also soccer games, birthday parties, picnics, etc. going on there on a weekend so it can be crowded. As far as restaurants, there are lots of fast food places up and down Hwy 6 near the park.

i'm from that area of town. the fields are ok depending on the time of year. there are a zillion fast food places on hwy 6 and clay road or eldridge and west little york

Just pray it doesn't rain. I had many games cancelled there as a kid because it floods really easy. Other than that, I think it's a great place for games.

Played there may times - it's fine.
