I wonder if the A's have somebody in centerfield tipping pitches? The Rangers pitchers make some really good pitches and the A's always seem to know what is coming. I wish I could find what their team batting splits are for the past couple of years for home and away.

Really trying not to be bias on that replay call.

I agree with Grieve. If I had to pick I'd have called him out but they didn't have incontrovertible proof that was the case. Bad overturned call.

So much hilarity...

At worst tie goes to the runner... Not only did they overturn the call on the field, as close as it was... even a tie, should have favored Choo being safe.

It is a win, none-the-less. No harm... but unless they use something like they use in fencing... some of these calls will still be wrong.

Speaking of which... while at A&M, I took fencing. Our coach was ranked like 8th in the country and ended up moving to DC for an attempt to make the Olympics. At the end of the season, the winner of the class tournament got to face her with the electronic vests. She scored a point on him and most of us where still waiting on her to move.

So I figured out the most impressive thing about Kouzmanoff so far after watching his post game interview last night.

The most impressive thing he has done so far in a Ranger's uniform was the relentless string of cliches he was spouting off consecutively during the interview. I'm pretty sure he managed to fit in EVERY baseball cliche out there and he even made Michael Young seem like a free talker.

Good game last night.

-Darvish is great even when he's not great. He'll need to have a dominant outing against Oakland at some point though.
-I think they probably got that challenge right. I don't think the TV broadcast did a very good job of lining up the different angles and I think the folks in NY might have seen a better view.
-How long can they keep getting production from Wilson, Murphy and Kouzmanoff? Enjoying it while it lasts.

She indicated he was hard to read when he was tongue-in-cheek, when he was serious and when he was being sarcastic.

He and Holland will be a hoot.

Tonight it is Nick Martinez. I'm looking forward to seeing him return.

Beltre was thought to be returning on Friday.

Harrison appears slated for Mon, Apr 28 - replacing Nick Martinez. It could be a one-start tour with the team.

Help is on the way, for the team with the 2nd best record in the AL.

I like Scheppers but think he may be a year away from being a regular at the big league level (rotation).
