I liked Odor's aggressiveness to go after it, considering the game situation. But with it being only his 2nd ever game in MLB... he really has no perspective on the swirling winds and how that ball will come down.
Rios had to call him off... however, with it being only Odor's 2nd game... you don't want him hearing footsteps and you don't know how well they'd communicate out there.
Very disappointing outcome, however... time to finish it out.
in all honesty, he got a homer call on the error. That ball goes as a hit in any scenario other than a No Hitter.
If it hit is glove? Well then there is an argument. It was a mental error for sure. But a scoring error? Well that is VERY questionable. But he SHOULD be pitching for a perfect tonight. He's been untouchable.
