Well look at that...no run support for Yu...JD and Co. will have to wildcat for oil to have a chance at resigning Yu to an extension.

2015 and 2016 are guaranteed...he can opt out of 2017 if he reaches certain Cy Young achievements.

At this point...I just want ONE WS run with Yu as our ACE during his contract.

Gallo has been solid. The main thing in front of him is Beltre. Signed through 2016.

If the Rangers continue to struggle and Gallo continues to rake... would you trade Beltre with 2.5 years left on his contract?

This lineup is pissing me off. The pitching has been hammered by injury, but it's also the only reason this team is anywhere near .500. Fatass needs to start swinging the bat.

I love Beltre, but I do think this is a season where you dangle him and see what bites.

Fielder has got to do something. Beltre's defense has gone downhill pretty fast. I'm afraid his offense is going to do the same. You don't have anyone you to fill that hole right now though. Even if you give up on competing this year, you'd have a hard time finding someone for next year.

Gallo's third homer was pretty impressive.

Posted this on another thread... Odor was a late scratch from today's game, due to his wrist.

This has to stop...

13 players on DL.

Fielder out until Tuesday when they will eventually put him on the DL.

Now Odor... That's 15 players. 1 player on the bench today (not including 2nd C).

6 of those on the DL60, which means they won't count against the 40.

Perez and Harrison will have to be put on the DL60, soon.

Dan Robertson (LF) is their only position player on the 40. If Odor and Fielder hit the DL... they they will have to add positional guys... not to mention they will need to send a pitcher down.

If you like minor league baseball... then the 2014 Rangers are for you.

8 of their 25 were and should still be in the minors.
