overall selection* Why? Because he has good control and above average stuff for kid his age. Even though history hasn't been kind to HS pitchers taken #1 overall. I do think the Astros should take a chance by selecting him over Rodon. I found this about Aiken

Sounds like that's who most "experts" expect them to take.

The two latest mocks I saw both had Aiken-Rodon-Kolek as the top three picks.

I want some Rodon

I just want the front office to be damned sure they can sign whoever they pick.

He could be the next Kershaw, or he could be the next Brien Taylor...

That being said, I wouldn't mind taking a chance on a future Kershaw. I also wouldn't mind drafting a Nola type player and getting some higher potential in other picks.
