I saw him play against the Hooks on Saturday. Impressive prospect, def passes the eye test. He's a large presence at 3B.

He'll be in Ranger blue next year if they can convince Beltre to Michael Young-it to DH.

Edit: Or they trade him. He's due a lot of money next year to DH.

I might be nuts, but last night Gallo did something amazing that makes me look forward to him getting to the majors than any of his homers or walks. He got a bunt single against the shift.

Down four runs, the team needed base runners and he actually did what he could to get on base!

10 for 43 from the plate with 6 homeruns, 14 RBI, 9 walks, and an 1.125 OPS. He has struck out 20 times, which is a little concerning.

Anybody see how far his second homer traveled into the second deck? I've read that the first homer went about 430 ft. Last night's homer couldn't have been too far from that.
