Seems like they get in the face more often than the too of the head. I'm just not sure how much protection it's really offering. And that's aside from the fact that it might be the dumbest looking thing I've ever seen.

Good for him for having the balls to wear that goofy looking thing. That said, from what I've read (and as alluded to above), most of the serious pitcher injuries are sustained on hits below the hatline. Can't hurt though.

I'm not a fan of the design, but seeing it on a person, it provides more coverage than i thought it would just from seeing it on a mannequin.

I understand wanting to make it look like a baseball cap, but it seems like something like Petr Cech wears would be a much better solution and I really don't understand not allowing it at least as an option.

Both of dudes above look like complete jerk-offs in those things.
