I'd love to see interleague play go away and home field advantage NOT be decided by the outcome of the All-Star game.

Kill interleague play. I like the old separation of the leagues. Figure something else out to make the All Star game relevant. Enforce the original strike zone.

No kidding. Never gonna happen. Whatever mystique league separation had for the old-man-syndrome-get-off-my-lawn types is gone anyway, even if they don't realize it. Time to move on. The most that will happen is the DH will be added in the NL.

Interleague play DOES take away the All-Star game and World Series mystique to a degree. I don't understand how that can be denied.

You're living in the pre-MLB package, games-on-espn-all-the-time past. The mystique is there when the other league is more of a mystery. That's long gone for more reasons than the fact they play each other.

So have 15 teams in each league but no inter-league?

I know interleague isn't going anywhere. Doesn't mean I have to like it. Could we at least enforce an actual strike zone?
