I'm all for the tradition surrounding the game of baseball, but they need to scrap these during the week. NBA and NHL have double the amounts of teams in the postseason and they manage to get everybody in primetime on weeknights. Tough to get fired up for an NLCS game on a Tuesday afternoon.

I have a tv in the office. Doesn't bother me.

It was great during the Winter Olympics, March Madness, World Cup and golf tourneys.

Pretty much nobody will see it. That seems to be the trend with baseball.

The NBA playoffs go on for 2 months. That would never fly.

You spend two weeks on a round in the NBA playoffs. For MLB... if you had two weeks for a best of 7, like the Pacers v Heat last year, and you'd only need 2 SPs.

In baseball... hitters very rarely like off days. If you got in any kind of rhythm or groove... you'd be in a slump by the 3rd game.

Love me some middle of the week afternoon baseball, it is a whole lot better than games that last until almost midnight.

I feel the direct opposite. I LOVE afternoon playoff baseball.

I have fond memories of Jack Clark ripping the Dodgers hearts out in an afternoon game when I skipped the last part of school to get home to watch it.

Nostalgia and baseball go hand in hand.

I love daytime baseball. If the Astros were in the playoffs I would take the day off, done it many times before for playoff baseball.

Don't like it. Game is over by the time people get home from work. And it's not like March Madness where you can just stream it with the boss button.

I enjoy them. I work shift work so I got to watch the game with my kiddo yesterday.

DVR getting a lot of action lately. Especially since living on the west coast...

I have streamed every Cardinals day game with no problem.

I have vivid memories of running home from school in 1968 to watch game 7 of the World Series - Lolich vs. Gibson for all the marbles. Yes, I'm old.

I wish they would just put both games on at the same time. Baseball is so slow that I could easily follow them both at the same time. The Royals advanced to the world series yesterday while I was commuting home from work. I'm sure about 5 people watched in cities other than KC and Baltimore.
