1. I don't remember any specific hypotheticals like that.

2. I think my MLB hat order goes like:

1 - Red Sox (1992 or so) I don't remember why I bought my first RedSox hat. I liked Wade Boggs and Mike Greenwell. And my last name starts with B? Who knows. Still have this hat and pull it out from time to time.
2 - Red Sox (1997) - Replacement for my original one. Loaned it to a buddy and he failed out of college. Never liked that hat. 5150
3 - Red Sox (2003) - Red hat bought in the Las Vegas airport. Great hat. It's pretty beat up now, but I don't want to replace it with a new one now that the RedSox are good again.
4 - Tigers (2005ish) - 5150 that I bought for a Magnum PI costume. I still have it but rarely wear it because 5150's fit me funny.
5 - Nationals (2006) - Navy hat. I don't really remember why I bought this hat. I think i liked it because it was an old Senators logo. Still a great hat that I love.
6 - Rangers (2008) Navy hat that I bought before I left Dallas. I had been looking for a navy Rangers hat for years. I had royal blue hats, which is the only reason I'd never bought a Rangers hat. Never really liked the hat because it didn't age well and the Rangers' T was strage
7 - Brooklyn (2009) - Royal blue Dodgers hat. I was right, I don't like royal blue hats and I rarely wear this hat. I've been asked by no less than three different "RedSox fan" girls why I'm wearing a blue RedSox hat.
8 - Rangers (2010) - I finally found the navy Rangers hat I'd been looking for for like 6 or 7 years. The only one I'll really wear out anymore.

Seven different styles of Houston caps including a Colt .45 one.

Milwaukee Brewers cap with this logo (love this logo):

Rather than burn it after effin' Bud Selig sent my 'Stros to the American League, I gave it to my BIL's cousin who is a long time Brewers fan.

Milwaukee Braves cap.

Twin Cities logo Minnesota Twins cap.

Blue, red billed St Louis Cardinals cap.

St. Louis Browns cap circa the late '40s.

1917 Chicago White Sox cap

I've had probably 7 different rangers hats over the years from camo ones to white to royal blue. Then I've had 3 different Red Sox hats and just got a Cubs hat that I wear a lot now. My favorite hat though is a navy Rangers hat with a bright green T on the front and a four leaf clover on the back where the Texas flag usually is.

The only professional baseball hats have been the numerous Red Sox hats over the years.

Others were teams I played on (none of which I got paid to wear, unfortunately).

The day I realized the Brewers logo wasn't just a glove with a ball.

That's ok. When I was a kid, I wondered "what does JB stand for?"

ditto.

Growing up I had the caps of all the little league teams I was on: Dodgers, Tigers, Reds, Orioles. Also have had plenty of Ranger caps over the years. I actually got into a phase of wearing minor league caps for awhile (Mud Hens, Sea Dogs, Red Hawks, Clippers, Lookouts, Sand Gnats). Had a Mariners cap because of Ken Griffey, Jr, but probably my most obscure hat was an Angel had in the mid 90's. I was fascinated with the combination of logo and color scheme.
