Reports are this will NOT prevent them from signing Lester.
Love the Sandoval signing. Hanley was the #1 prospect when he was in Portland AA. Then they shipped him and were very quiet as to why but the rumor was due to immaturity. Then he showed some ass elsewhere. Hopefully he's grown up.

I hear the Yankees are looking for a SS
Not sure what they have planned with the surplus of outfielders..rumors are that Cespedes on way out with either Betts, Bogaerts, and a pitcher (like Webster/brian Johnson/Matt Barnes) for Hamels

My question as well. You would think Boston would learn from their mistakes in 2012 and literally every Yankees season the past 15 years (minus 2009)

Might try him in LF and move some OF
man that is a lot of money for a player that has been primarily hurt the past two years, and a player whos regular season numbers aren't very good.
as we've discussed before...this is the advantage the big franchises/markets have.
