Astros have young talent on the rise and have added two solid bullpen arms in Gregerson and Neshek.

Rangers are aging and can't stay healthy.

Athletics. Do they have a team left? They have some young arms but have drastically fallen apart this offseason.

Doubtful either is a contender this year, but the Rangers just came off a season where they set historical records for players lost to injury. In May they lost their #2 starter, #3 starter, #4 starter, starting first baseman, backup first baseman, starting second baseman and catcher for the season.

Houston still only managed to beat them out by 3 games in the division.

Astros definitely up and coming and on the right track, but unless Texas is decimated by injuries again I don't see any way Houston climbs to 3rd in the division.

I think the AL West will finish

But I think it's going to be close. Last place in division within 15 games of first. Angels aging, Mariners offense, Rangers injuries, Astros youth, A's firesell makes the division a little closer.

I should add that my projections may be slightly biased due to my strong dislike of the Rangers.

I still think they'll finish in the bottom two of the division.

What do you dislike about them?

With the Zobrist trade, I'm revising my prediction to Toronto 4th and Tampa Bay 5th.

And now, I pretty much don't care about any baseball.
