220+ wins as a Yankee, and 5 rings. Don't see what the problem is. And it's pretty simple, he admitted to cheating pretty early in the process, wasn't in denial like his brother Clemens.

Our favorite aggie 2nd basemen is not impressed

He denied using PEDs. Then the Mitchell report came out, and said he only used HGH twice, but not for an advantage. Then later he said he used again, but it was his dad's.

I dont care care that he used. But the pass he gets for "being honest" is hilarious.

He probably just "mis-remembers" using it for recovery rather than for an advantage.

This is right on! The only reason he gets that free pass is because of Roidger's denials.

I have to assume that there is some bad blood between chuck and pettitte.

Not that chuck is wrong here, he admitted his use without reservations, recanting or restating. While he isn't clean by any measure he does have some ability to point out what others want to forget (Yankees, NY Media, Pettitte, Yankee fans etc).

Dierker for his number retired because of his managerial time here on top of his playing career. And I would also think the Yankees held higher standards than most for an honor like this

good for him. He didn't accomplish anything significant in winning as a pitcher or manager, but let's give him a retired number. Girardi won a damn World Series and I doubt he ever gets a number retired unless they win another. The Astros would rename the stadium after him if he had done that

I know times are tough, but didn't realize they were that bad!

Even "retiring capitan" has come up. What next? Hot dog vendor gets a statue? Or he did he cheat, but the "okay" cheating?
