Back in my day, I had to listen to the Rangers (in College Station) on a radio with an AM station that had mostly static. Whole sentences would be missed.

But I loved it. I listened. And I'm better for it. You get video on a phone, for crying out loud. You don't even have to watch fuzzy TV, just "Standard Definition." Ooooo... poor quality standard def.

yessir....growing up a huge Rangers fan i lived in the country and we had three channels on TV and so i would stay up late at night listening to 1080 on the AM dial...back in the good days of rusty greer, pudge, Igor and johnny oates....now my son is 9 and he has no interest in baseball after i told him i broke my jaw playing and stayed in the game....crazy how we hope our kids enjoy what we did and how what interests him is what i care more about now even though i can catch every ranger's game in HD except on friday nights and i may watch 10 games a year and only waste 30 hours of my life instead of 20 days watching every game
