Probably my anti-Angels bias, but do people like Trout? I'm not talking about if he's great, but if he's the well-liked popular star that OP is portraying Goldschmidt as. Honest question, I hate the Angels, so I don't think of him as likable. Respect his game, but thats it.

Trout is little to cocky to fit what the OP is talking about, but there's nothing wrong with anything about Trout.

trout doesn't even speak much. He's like Pujols. Come to work, do your job, go home, print paper.

Goldschmidt is the nicest guy in baseball. Only heard good things about Trout.

I can't stand Mike Trout, but it's mainly because he's the best player in baseball and on the team I hate the most as a mariner fan. Offensively, defensively, and on the base paths he's a beast
