I ordered the sports extra package on dish earlier this week. Now every game is blacked out. I understand why the Mariners/ Astros game was blacked out but I should have no issue watching Seattle vs Minnesota while living in Texas. I had a sports package with direct tv a few years ago and never had issues watching root sports northwest for M's games. Any thoughts?

You need MLB.TV to watch any out of market MLB game.

Yeah, the sports package will get you a lot of out-of-market games in college sports, but none in the pros.

I have used MLB.tv for the last 3 years but decided to try and use the sports package because it' cheaper and it worked in the past. Oh well. I guess I'll cancel the package and go back to MLB.tv just wanted to make sure ther wasn't something I was missing.
