A 9 year old bat boy has died from head injuries from accidental contact on the on deck circle. Several Ags have played for this club in the summer over the years. T&P for the family and the player.

He was wearing a helmet but it wasn't enough. Please be over protective of kids around bats.

Very sad news.

let me ask the question...does an age limit need to be set for bat boys & girls?

also...the fact that it's a volunteer job really puts the family in a difficult situation medical expenses-wise when a fatal or nonfatal injury occurs
