Which would be the more impressive feat? A 27 pitch perfect game or an 81 pitch game with 27 strikeouts?

81. You could just lob 27 balls up there, and chances are they will be hit to someone. Gotta believe that 81 would be statistically more impressive.

According to the game score statistic, a perfect game with 27 Ks (regardless of pitch count) is better than any other 9 inning game that can be pitched.

IMO 81 pitches. It doesn't matter to me that it's been done before and a 27 pitch game hasn't.

Rare doesn't always equal impressive.
