Wasn't he decent in August and pretty good in September? Thought I saw that he was penciled in to start Game 1 of the potential NLDS.

3.63 ERA Post-ASB.

I'm guessing we'll be hearing something more about this... probably an arrest or police report.

Alcohol isn't generally something that someone functioning would address right before the playoffs, unless they are trying to get ahead of something... IMO.

he got into an argument at a club in toronto in august. people thought he was drunk during that and he denied it.

Him going to rehab is good for him

That being said, he wasn't going to be a very positive contributor to the team in the playoffs, IMO

This coming from someone that continues to struggle with an addiction. There is a better way. And someone pointed it out above. Something happened and now he is being held accountable for it. Sabathia is not admitting this on a high note.
