Going to be in SF this summer and going to catch a day game in late June. Where's the best place to sit? Any must eats or drinks? Any other tips?

(Rangers, Astros, and Cardinal fans will be in attendance, just checking this ballpark off the list!)

Both the posters above give good advice. We went in May last year and it got chilly after the sun went down, and 21st Amendment was great right before the game.

I had lots of different suggestions on where too sit. We ended up getting tickets in right field in front of the cove and had a blast.

Second deck on the first base side gives you a nice view of the bay. And yes, like everywhere in SF, it'll be colder than you would think. Garlic fries are what they're known for.

Night games will always be freezing. Always.
Days games tend to not be too bad. I usually go to between 5 and 10 Sunday day games a year and bring a jacket, but don't think I've ever actually put it on. It's necessary to have a jacket with you, but during the day it doesn't get as cool as people think. Tends to be around 65 and sunny. That being said, don't wear shorts unless the forecast says 70+.
I tend to gravitate towards the upper decks. Better fans up there than field level, and beautiful views of the bay (I've found that helps when the ladies aren't too interested in the game). I had split season tickets in section 313, which is upper deck down the first base line, and loved it up there. Less beer options on third deck though. But honestly, it's hard to find a bad seat in this place.

Garlic fries are pretty much part of giants games, so don't skip that.

I got some garlic fries at tBIA one time and was a little inebriated. I told them not to short me on the garlic. My wife smelled me coming back to our seats about 30 seconds before I even got there, then made me go back up to the concourse to eat them.

Watch out for the hungry seagulls in the late innings if you sit in the OF

Bring a hoodie or light jacket of some kind. Even day games in the shade get chilly. I'll be there in early June to hangout with family and catch a game. Fun place. My BIL works for Dropbox and their buildings are right across the street so we just eat and drink there before we walk over to the game. I can't be much help on places to eat but I do recommend the garlic fries at AT&T.
