Do any of y'all know much about the Scout softball player rankings? My daughter, who is a HS freshman, recently went through evaluation/skills tryout and got invited to Allen for 2 more days of games/evals. Right now they have her as the 30th rated player in the class of 2019.

Question is, how excited should I get at this point? Regardless, I'm pretty proud of her!

How much is it costing you? What will you pay me if I tell you she is a top 15 player, maybe better, but you have to come for more evals?

Not trying to be a jerk, but I'm on the baseball side and the more expensive, the less the return on the tournaments....and recruiting services are a clown show. They hype the rat race. You are now in the race.

I would use your intuition. Is she really effin' good at softball, where she was already possibly the best player on the varsity team and has a history of being the best at every level? If so, you can probably get excited.
