Tired of the gutless wonders throwing at people/acting tough and then no one really ever doing anything about it. Maybe if there actually some ramifications, the bull**** will stop.

Ventura really thought he wanted some, but then quickly realized he didn't want any. I'm just glad someone finally went after him with how much he throws at people.

If Machado were a real man, he would have gone to first, then retaliated against the 2nd baseman that had nothing to do w/ the HBP.

Manny Machado also threw a bat at an infielder on purpose.

Edit: But yes, Ventura needs to cool it.

Why are guys named Ventura always getting their asses kicked?

More fights? I'm for it. IMO, baseball fights are the best fights in sports because it's a team effort. Hell, even the staff gets in on it.

In football and basketball, it's mostly just a couple of shoves and words. In hockey, 2 guys will be trading blows and the rest of their team is skating around like "Claude landed a clean blow there, eh?"

That was a sad display of fighting skill by both of them.

This "brawl" reminds me of a story my son's coach told us. My son reminds his coach of a guy he knew in the minors. This guy threw 100 mph and one day he got in an argument in the bullpen with another pitcher who threw 98. They didn't share a common language so they argued by throwing baseballs at each other. Apparently they were good at dodging so it took a while before one finally nailed the other hard enough to end the argument. Screaming in two different languages, neither English, dancing around the bullpen and throwing 100 mph fastballs with a big audience. The rest of the pitchers were dying, coach still laughs tears out almost ten years later.

The kids hyper flexibility reminds coach of "Turbo" the 100 mph hurler, sadly not his velocity.

In hockey, there's a pretty decent penalty for "third man in" that isn't there in the other sports.
