Seems a bit excessive, IMO. Maybe the judge is sending a message. I'd say 6-months or so in jail and MLB stepping in with a lifetime ban from baseball would suffice. Also, a nice fine for the Cardinals and the Astros getting 2 first round picks from the Cardinals.
