I've used Yahoo Sports app for a long time and really like the way it's laid out, but it freezes up on me at least once every inning or two. This just started a couple of weeks ago. Anyone else having this issue? (I have a Sumsung 7).

I'm using "The Score" now and it's OK, but ads on the bottom of the screen cover up information for who is pitching and batting.

Is there anything better out there, that's free of course?

Ever tried MLB At Bat? one ad on the screen that's not at all obtrusive.

I don't like the play by play on the MLB At Bat app but the push notifications are awesome.

I get the starting lineup as soon as AJ turns it in (usually about 3 hours before first pitch) and then I have it set for all scoring plays but you can add pitching changes, etc or whatever notifications you want.

I haven't found a play by play one I really like. I hate that on ESPN Gamecast that the score changes before it tells you what happened. Sort of anti-climactic.

MLB app is great.

I use The Score a lot also because it is great for all sports.

It's like $15/year for MLB At Bat. And you get to stream audio for any game (home and away feeds). Highlights. Play by play.

Well worth it for me every year.
