At Friday just before 12 am central, the Athletic dropped a story about judge ruling that a letter from Manford was to be unsealed that would cause "significant reputational injury" to the Yankees.

I think Manfred agreed to allow the Astros (let us keep the title) to bear the brunt of the blame in order to protect other teams doing similar things.

As previously reported by The Post's Ken Davidoff, industry sources said the letter written after an investigation launched of the Red Sox "AppleWatchGate" scandal notes a pair of offenses related to sign-stealing, including the Yankees improperly using a dugout phone prior to 2017. The letter also states that Yankees players used the replay room to steal signs and relay them to runners on second base in 2015 and 2016.

It's been said many times, but what the Astros were doing was being done by every other team in baseball. At most your could say the Astros just figured out how to relay to the batter without a runner at second.

It's like if your a bank robber and go around sticking up at gun point and take all the money out of the registers... Then you find out someone else hacked into the bank and transferred billions to his account. Both of you are criminals, the other guy is just better at it.

Correct. The article I listed above says the Yankees lost their appeal so it will be released (not sure on the date).
