Team USA is playing in Houston on Friday, Saturday, Monday, & Tuesday.....just announced Webb will pitch Friday, Skubal will pitch Saturday and Skenes will pitch Monday. Nolan McLean is slated for Tuesday but is ill so that might shift.

Skubal will only pitch one game for USA, the rest signed on to pitch deeper into the tourney.

Not well versed on WBC stuff, but did I hear correctly that Trae Turner didnt even get an invite???? I get you have to keep rolling in younger players but wow.

The team is pretty darn stacked! Witt and Henderson are the two roster SS....and the Phillies are also already well represented on the roster

Should be fun to watch

We're going to the Brazil vs Italy game in Houston. Should be a great soccer game.....what?? LOL

We are going though and cheering for Brasil! LOL...I am going to guess they will have a lot of Japanese guys on the team...Brazil has a HUGE Japanese population.

How about Joseph Contreras. 17 year old Georgia high schooler throwing for Brazil. His stuff looks good. Committed to Vandy. Jose Contreras' kid. He got judge to hit into a double play with bases loaded.

Korea vs Japan was a good game. I like live baseball with my Saturday morning coffee.

Mexico and GB at Daikin was a great atmosphere yesterday. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm glad I went. I wish I'd have bought tickets for Monday night to see Skenes throw against Mexico, but that's SRO now.

It wasn't much different than a normal Astros game. Easy to get in via left field, and most concessions were open for the early game. Biggest complaint I had was that the Saint Arnold bar dropped Amber for this season. The only time I really drink it is at the ballpark.
