Just booked a Rhine Castle Swiss Alps Christmas trip with them. Only river cruise with a vacancy. Anyone have experiences with them?

They have an excellent reputation, most importantly just focus on where you are, in choosing Switzerland that was the most important choice.....and you made the correct one. Enjoy

You should have a great time. AMA is an excellent cruise line.

Our AMA cruise was a little nicer than Viking. They do a good job.

AMA trip to Bordeaux this past May. Top notch group of people. Going on another river cruise next year with them.

Curious about the details.

Fire away with questions. We went in the pre-cruise so we got to know the cruise director prior to the actual cruise. He took time on the daily outings to show us some off the path places for wine. All the staff was first class. Took care of our every need. The staff basically waited on us 24/7.

Each day there were various tours, all included in the cost. This was a wine cruise so we tasted wine just about every day. All the tours accommodated all types. (Gentle walkers, regular and bike tours)

Breakfast and dinner always provided on the ship. Alcohol was included for breakfast, lunch, dinner and sip n sail(happy hour). Only time you had to pay for alcohol was after dinner. Even then, I only paid for two drinks the entire week because I tipped the waitress/bartender each night.
