We're taking a quick trip to Vegas next weekend and want to make dinner reservations. We like food. Bautista's and Giada are our usual go-to places. Mom Ami Gabi for breakfast/brunch.

What else do you recommend in the event we want to try something different.

I was there last weekend and had Hash House A Go Go for the first time. Not too bad and big portions

Went to the Italian Steakhouse at The D on Fremont Street last week. It was pretty good. The casino it's in had some sketchy clientele though.

Piero's is old Vegas Italian food. Gangsters have been arrested in Piero's while eating and it still had that vib.

And the food is really good.

For steaks and seafood we always go to Joe's Stone Crabs in the Forum Shoppes attached to Caesar's. Original is in Miami. One in Chicago too.

Need reservations for both.

Joe's is one of my favorites.

For a great lunch check out the options at Famous Foods Street Eats located at Resorts World.

Tacos la Chata is a super yummy place to eat. I've tried many things from their menu, and every time I was really happy with the taste. They are quick, nice, and always do a great job. They make the food taste the same every time they cook it. If I could, I would give them 10 stars. I enjoy going there a lot. The prices are good, and they give you a good amount of food, not a little bit.

We heard about a restaurant called "Sushilon Sushi Y Mariscos" on the radio and decided to go there. We're really glad we went because the food was very tasty. We definitely plan to go back again in the future. Here are some additional amazing Restaurants near Las Vegas you might like.

I have to agree with you on the food choices. Ate at Bautista's once. I took my then 21 year old son and his Aggie friends out there for his birthday.

That was a place to eat for a bunch of college kids.

Somebody on here recommended Bouchon at the Venetian and I really enjoyed it. Seemed like a decent value by Las Vegas standards. Nice place but not over the top fancy.

Battista's

If that's your go to, my recommendations would be White Castle or Outback at Casino Royale.

crazy how that place gets mentioned. Vegas is one of the best food towns around and folks want to go to old crusty restaurants because the mob had a meal there 60 years ago.

I don't get the love for Hash House A Go Go. It's a chain and the one in Plano closed after like a year

Virgin sucks, but I believe Nobu is still there. Mizumi at Wynn is also good.

Neither is cheap.

Nora's Italian Cuisine is wonderful.

But my favorite eats in Vegas is Yardbird Southern Table & Bar on restaurant row between the Venetian and the Palazzo.

I'm not a huge Thai fan, but my wife is so I'm taking her to Lotus of Siam tomorrow. Looking forward to it

Tacos El Gordo and Halal guys will be hit along the way. Can't help it. Don't really have good street food where I'm at.

Halal guys? Well I guess you do need a break from new and fun.
