Going to Vegas soon with the wife and friends. We like to do one buffet each time we go. Just wondering if you all have any recommendations? We would like:

-Around $50 for the food
-Drink package
-Around 2 hours if not more

The MGM buffet is currently $52 for Saturday and looks like a good one. Doesn't look like there's a time limit either. Caesar's seems outrageous! $70 for 1.5 hours.

Any help is appreciated!

I've heard the Wynn is good. Haven't been. Went to the one at Caesar's and the one at Cosmo years ago and they were fine.

I think I've decided it's not for me.

Am I doing something wrong? I eat a monstrous plate, then maybe a small plate and I am done. Like 45 minutes tops. What am I supposed to do with the extra 75 minutes? There will be a poop involved at some point, do you just build that into the 75 minutes? I don't want anything to do with the stalls just outside a mega buffet. Eew.

Dang guys. Just wanted my money's worth with the drink package. If I'm going to pay $75 per person for everything I want to make sure and enjoy it and not be rushed.

Leaning towards the Palm's buffet. Anyone been?

$70 for 1.5 hours is a bargain in Vegas, no matter the activity.

I can only speak recently to Bacchanal at Ceasar's. Went a year ago.

It was pretty good. For a buffet often considered 'the best' I'm not sure it's worth the $70+ we paid per person. I've had others years ago but don't recall the price nor value. I've honestly never left a Vegas buffet and said "wow, that was absolutely worth every penny!"

Even with reservations (get them or you very possibly won't get in at Ceasar's) it still took at least 45 minutes waiting to get processed through before we were seated.

Edit to add: I know nothing of drink packages at buffets. I didn't know that was a thing but have never looked for it.

I don't recall the cost, but the Wynn's breakfast buffet was awesome.

I just booked the Wynn buffet for when we are there in 3 weeks. $52.99 per person, and $30.99 per person for endless pours drink package. I haven't been in years but remember the Wynn buffet being very good. They don't take reservations but you can do priority seating and pre-pay for everything and it secures your spot in line. We are staying at the Venetian for the U2 concert so will be walking from the Venetian to the Wynn. Anyone know how easy or hard of a walk that is? Looks like just over a mile.

They are all overrated. Just pick a good restaurant instead.

its in the building next door. walk over the bridge and you are there. easy walk. (thought if buffet type, may be better say this is an easy scooter ride )

wynn is apparently the best buffet on the strip. skip. too many great spots at venetian and wynn to mess around at the feed trough.

Imo, Vegas has the highest quality sit down restaurants in the country. They may be a little more than a buffet, but not much difference. Treat yourself vs fighting grandma over a crab leg.

You'll spend 2x a "sit down" vs a decent buffet

Apparently people haven't been to a nice buffet in Vegas in awhile. Ain't no "Fightin over crab legs" from grandma.

A nice buffet is an experience different than a 2+ hr sit down meal that's easily $150/pp before drinks.

Ha! Nope not the scooter type at all, just enjoy that at a buffet we can get a smattering of things, eat what we want, leave stuff on the plate, and go get something different. Thanks! It looked like an easy walk but wanted to check.

Bringing this thread up again…

We are going to Vegas in a couple weeks and want to hit one buffet.

What's considered the top buffet other than Wynn?

in prior years, i would of said the sterling brunch (lobster buffet) at bally's but alas it is not offered any longer but now the answer is most likely bachannal at caesars....all others are mostly crap.
