Yeah, I got mine 20 years after I graduated so it's in pretty good nick.

That explains it.
Ring #1 was a 10K that I paid $251 for in 1991.
Ring #2 is 14K that I paid $537 for in 2003.

Since I sacrificed 12 years of wear, I figured I'd get the 14K. 20 years into it, my ring looks like a 10K with 30+ years of wear.

Might have to get Ring #3 at some point for formal occasions where I want people to be able to read what it says.

I coulda gotten one for $251 but figured it would be better to wait until the price of gold shot up to about $1K per ounce.
