Heading to Park City on Sunday and the snow situation doesn't look amazing. Before I go through every single resort's site to look at condition reports, I'm looking for reports from anyone who's been skiing over the past week at resorts within driving distance from PC. Half our party can ski blacks, but one of the kids and I really should stick to blues. Is there any hope, or will this trip just be a bust?

There's a long thread on the outdoor board about skiing including current updates.

Honestly, Deer Valley has the best snowmaking in the Wasatch. I was there 3 weeks ago but I know there hasnt been anything lately across Utah and next week looks a bust too.

I'm also heading to SLC tomorrow morning and have a ski lesson at Canyons Mon morning. Looking at alternatives if snow is bad and seems like Alta or Solitude might be in play although one guy who was just at PC said snow making at Canyons has been good.

I preferred Solitude over Brighton

Thanks, everybody!

We're going to start at PC on Monday because one of the kids has ski school and we've already got 5 day epic passes for the whole family. But if it sucks then we'll likely switch to Solitude on Tuesday.

Alta has the best snow by far in that area. Solitude isn't bad but it's not great.

Bad news: no new snow expected this week
Good news: 20-26 inches expected next Sunday/Monday.
