If you are staying at the base start making reservations now for dinner. Not many restaurants but they are all good, and they fill up fast. If you are staying in town snake river is really good.

Bring your wallet, Jackson is not cheap. Town is cheaper than the resort and bus runs every 15 mins or so.

My favorite hang out was the Mangy moose.

The Tetons are a mountain range. We need more specifics as to where in the Tetons.

Well you have 2 choices to my knowledge.

Jackson Hole in Jackson Wyoming is the one 95% think of when going to the Tetons so I assumed that was your destination.

There is also Grand Targhee but that is not well known and is not on the Ikon or Epic ski passes.

There is a local non resort called ski King in Jackson I think it has like 2 or 3 lifts only. I wouldn't consider it part of the Tetons but I think technically it is.

I do not know of any other resorts in the Tetons due to fact that they are a National Park and so steep most couldn't ski them if they wanted to. At least that is the 5 peaks everyone thinks of in the photos of the Tetons.

I gave you info on Jackson Hole mountain resort. Again it is not for beginners, very few green runs. I am not familiar with Targhee but I guess look at that one too.

Snow King

The snow in the Tetons is really low right now for this time of year. JH is only 44% open and has a middle to high 30 inch base. It's ROUGH. Right now. They are supposed to get about a ft this week, but that's not much compared to what they need.

In speaking w my in laws, it sounds like a significant number of JH reservations are moving to GT as they have better snow (not great) more open and less skiers so a better hold.

It's 45 miles from Jackson. It takes about 1:10 on a good day. You can see Snow King from town of Jackson. You'll cross the Snake River and head north to get to Jackson Hole.

As mentioned above it's a very steep mountain. One of the most shreds.
