We've got a family of six (kids ages 6-14) that I'd look to do something fun with over spring break. Budget from Houston is $15k max.

We've done Disney, Europe, Costa Rica, and 30A in the last few years. Other cool ideas? We like seeing beautiful things, fun family friendly activities, and making memories together.

Have you done a Disney Cruise? We are doing one for the first time this Spring Break. You could also ski as well. We have always enjoyed Colorado. I haven't looked at prices but Hawaii could be an option as well

You have been to some beautiful places. I would try Kauai, or Maui would be second but I don't know how the fire may have changed things there. The budget may be close to your 15k though for a family of 6. It was I think about 11k for me and my family. We stayed at the Lodge at Kukuulua though which is great for a large family.

Have considered a Disney cruise but just went to Disney a year ago so not as keen on that.

Have also considered Hawaii but would rather do that for 10-14 days sometime rather than 7.

I would say a regular cruise (like Royal Caribbean, Norwegian or Carnival). Flights can be pretty high that week so something out of Galveston would help. (Happy to help if going on this route).

I've only done Branson at Christmas but we love it. Maybe even Pigeon Forge/Dollywood?

A regular cruise is definitely on the list. Concern was getting adjoining rooms.

We've been to gatlinburg area during fall a couple years ago. Very lovely.

Royal Caribbean does adjoining rooms during booking. You can go through the whole process online, make sure to select your own room, and then when booking the second room you should be able to select adjoining.

I would recommend a travel agent or booking through an airline. We just booked a cruise through United for 10x points because we have a United credit card which will net us 75K United miles. CRAZY!

Connecting rooms might be hard but I'm up for the challenge if you want to email.

We are booked on the Royal Caribbean that leaves Galveston on March 14. Have a 14 year old, too.
