Has anyone been to Holbox, specifically in June? Reviews are very mixed, some really good and some terrible. We have done the JW Marriot cancun the past 2 summers and wanted to try something different. Was looking at the Mystique Holbox by Royalton as I can use marriot points.

It's on my list of things to visit. It is very small and not too Americanized yet but is quickly becoming that way from what I've read. There is a travel agent who lives in Mexico who talks about it often.

Haven't been to Holbox (actually contemplating it for this summer) but if you're looking for something different while at the same time a bit of a sure thing look into Isla Mujeres.

Plenty of hotels or rentals and get a golf cart to go explore beaches and restaurants. We loved it and can't wait to get back.

We went April last year and really enjoyed our trip.

There isn't much beach especially where the Marriott property is located. We stayed closer to pints mosquito and the sand bar out front was the highlight of the trip.

We have been to some amazing beaches and holbox is high on the list. It's my wife's favorite beach. Ahead of Thailand and Australia.

We stayed at villa caracol. It was the start of the beach and at low tide you could walk at least a mile down the sand bar.

This is very laid back beach town. We would walk into town each night and take golf cart taxi back to hotel each night
