We are trying to plan our 10 year trip and struggling to come up with where to go. We have not been able to travel in several years and so our list of places we want to go is fairly long. Want someplace relaxing and preferably kid free.

What interests you? Laying on a beach and having someone bring fruity drinks to you?

Cruising?

Traveling across Europe?

Sandals has locations in cool locations that isn't your standard Jamaica/Mexico/Dominican Republic. Antigua, St. Lucia, Grenanda, Curacao, etc.

So wherever we go we want to be relaxing and not go to the entire trip. We originally were looking at something in the mountains but wife is now leaning towards the beach. We are not really interested in a cruise.

We went to Sandals St Lucia for our honeymoon which was great. Didn't know if it is still a great spot or if it's now down the list of resorts?

I still think it's a great option. Personally I would try a different one, but that's just my preference. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the ones in Antigua, Barbados, Curacao, Grenada. I liked Bahamas but found the staff a little rude (but it's a cultural thing). Jamaica has good ones too but for anniversary I would lean towards one of the others.

Happy to help you, my services are free of charge. My email is in my profile. No worries at all if not.

A lot will depend on if you are looking for a more adventurous or relaxing vacation. Budget and travel time to destination is something to consider as well.

There are a lot of great destinations that could potentially give you the mountain and the beach experience as well. If you would like help planning this anniversary trip my contact info is in my bio.

I'm not sure if this is your version of relaxing but we did New England in October for our 10 year anniversary and mixed some coastal driving, leaf peeping on the sunnier days, and lounging around watching Ted Lasso with a fire going on overcast days. I found it to be generally as relaxing as a beach trip but in a totally different way.

Coco Plum Resort in Belize.

Look it up. Best vacation I've ever been on and consistently rated in the top "romantic" get always. It's essentially a private island with about 12 other couples. No kids. Extremely personalized experience.

PM if you have any questions.

*not sure your budget but it's not outrageously priced. A little bit steeper than the standard all inclusive resort

Isla Mujeres maybe? They have couple of great hotels without children allowed. Or check stayforlong reviews and contact those guys. They always have different great travel options available for different tastes. We went to Asia last year with them for 3 months in total and honestly had an amazing time.

My wife and I honeymooned there as I'd been doing some design work down in that area and wanted to go. Can't recommend it enough for a relaxing experience.
