We were supposed to connect through Frankfurt on our way to Venice, luckily weee able to change our connection through Zurich.

Lufthansa is seemingly always on strike. I got an extra night in Europe once because of a strike due to flying through Frankfurt. I was not displeased.

They need to get their strikes on a routine schedule and they will be Italy in no time.
