Spring break is next week and I need to fill in 3 days of my itinerary. We (family, kids 8 and 10) are leaving Baton Rouge Monday morning and need to be in Huntsville, AL Wed afternoon/evening. Any suggestions on things to see and do or places to stay in between? So far all I have is the USS Alabama in Mobile.

Huntsville itself has some fun things for that age. The Space and Rocket Center is worth a visit, and the Botanical Garden is really great (should be beautiful this time of year). Just outside Huntxville is Cathedral Caverns, which is also family-friendly and a pretty unique experience.

Biloxi and then up through Birmingham and Montgomery for some Civil Rights history

Blue Angels dont start practices in Pensacola until after Spring Break but the naval museum and a minor lague game could be interesting

Ended up doing Margaritaville in Biloxi then coming up to Starkville to break up the trip.
