This summer we are headed a little further south on our annual California trip. Two years ago we went to Monterrey, last summer was Malibu, this summer we are hitting Corona Del Mar and Newport. Rented a house in CDM for the end of June. Bringing the wife, 12yo son, 24 yo daughter and her BF.
We have plans to hit Disney one day since they have never been. Also planning on a RIB boat whale watching tour and a day on Balboa island. Anything else that is a must do out there? I was thinking of renting jet skis, thinking a day on Catalina might be cool, or just winging it every day. Maybe put my kid in a surfing school.
More interested in the beach and outdoorsy stuff than museums or ball games. I would consider a Dodger game but they are on the road.
