My wife and I hiked the West Highland trail last fall....loved it and will do it again in a few years.

If you don't have 7 or 8 days to do it, you could just do a segment or two.

We hiked in Scotland last September. 3 days in the Highlands, then Shetland, then the Borders area.

Enjoy! It's just a fantastic place

Make sure you have a midge net (smaller than mosquito netting) and some Smidge repellant for that time of year.

Is there anything that you wish you had taken w/ you or anything you took and didn't need?

We've got a service that will deliver our luggage to the next night's lodging, so we'll only be hiking w/ day packs.
