Wife and I are looking for advice on where to go. Keeping it to about $3k and 3-4 nights in September or October.

Currently our top 3 ideas are Jackson hole, an all inclusive or universal studios (I know we're all over the place).

Any other ideas or what would you pick out of those 3? We've typically been mountain/hiking couple but all inclusive is sounding better as I get older and deal with our kids daily.

Trying to keep with your "outdoors/hiking," theme but also incorporate some adult time and all-inclusive I would take a look at puerto Vallarta. You could do some kayaking, or hike to waterfalls, etc. the area is mountainous/jungle-ish. We are repeat customers to Hotel Mousai/Garza Blanca which is about 45minutes south of the airport/city and they have incredible views,, food, and all rooms at Mousai have a hot tub on the balcony. Enjoy whatever route you decide!

Does that $3k include airfare? And where are you traveling from?

All of those sound like great options.

Most of what I sell/book are all-inclusives and Cancun/Cabo/Puerto Vallarta are easy trips to make.

I do really love Universal though. 2 summers ago my mom, brother, daughter and I went for 3 days and really wanted to go back. We did do Universal Hollywood over Christmas, but I like Florida a lot more. I could totally go as adults without kids and still have an awesome time.

We loved Jackson Hole but it was so expensive. So just put that into consideration.

Tell me more about this Hotel Mousai. Do you use the beach below?

Yes. If you stay at Mousai (adults only) you can take a 10-ish minute walk down (back up is a trek uphill though) or trolleys back and forth that run every few minutes to Garza Blanca below down at the beach (families welcome.) The ocean area is nice, but more gravel type sand once you're in the water. The pools are so good though we often dont stray from there.
