I plan to drive all day from CS to St. Louis and wonder which route would be the easiest drive. Google offers two main routes. The first one goes through Little Rock, AR and the second one goes through Dallas and a large section of reservations in Oklahoma (very remote?). Thanks for your advice!

Personally, I would go through Little Rock. You add about an hour coming through Dallas. I live in Dallas and drove that route last year to go to a Cardinals game with my son. The route once you hit Oklahoma through Oklahoma make you go through lots of small Oklahoma towns until you get to Missouri. Pretty good once you get to Missouri though.

To second, I would avoid going through Oklahoma (assuming you are routed through Atoka, McAlester, Muscogee, Big Cabin, etc. up to I-44). That route (US-69) really needs to be an extension of I-45 at some point.

The route through OK on 75/69 between 45 and 44 is mostly divided/freeway; I have made this drive several times (starting back in '98 to watch A&M's last conference title ) and I don't see how going through Arkansas is faster, especially coming from BCS.

Very scenic too; lots of lakes, rivers and mountains to keep you entertained in eastern OK.

Oklahoma roads are worse than Louisiana.
