Howdy -- the wife is wanting to try out Cinnamon Shores. Any reviews or recommendations? Seems to be a bit pricey but does look very nice. Curious to hear from those that have been. We will also have our 2 year old with us.

Thanks!

About as close to 30a as you can get without going there. It's nice and clean and perfect for families imo. It's pricey but you get away from the trashy crowds that frequent the Texas coast. It's worth it in that alone.

Good kiddie pools as well for little kids.

It's nice. Not impeccable like Seaside or Rosemary Beach, but nice. We used to go to 30A before kids but Cinnamon Shore and Palmilla (similar to CS but closer to Port A) are the ticket for us these days. When you have little kids, being able to drive a golf cart from your house, over the boardwalk, and straight to your beach spot is a game changer.

Of course the beach is nowhere near as nice, but as a dad of 3, not having to schlep all the beach stuff by hand is well worth the trade off. Also saving ~5 hrs in the car each way from where we live…

Brother in law and family are there now. They love it. We booked at trip there for August.

I got back from CS yesterday (north property)

It's a nice, quiet property.

Pools are warm, but clean and kid-friendly

The pizza restaurant isn't bad, but call in your order early if not planning on dining there

The golf carts are definitely a bonus for logistics, but you can also find parking close to the boardwalk if you don't want to shell out $165/day to rent one. You can also park right next to your spot on the beach if you plan ahead and get down there before 10am.

Compared to 30A/Watercolor/Rosemary, it's MUCH less crowded around the property.

It's not exactly convenient to restaurants or grocery, but nothing a 5 minute drive can't fix.

...take it easy on me, I'm a normal horn
