Gonna be spending a few days at Cinnamon Shores. Will cook some and eat out some. Haven't been to Port Aransas in decades. What should I put on the list?

We go to Mac Daddy's every time we are in Port A. Kids like it (free ice cream) and wife likes it (she doesn't like seafood and that makes things difficult). I order fish or shrimp when I order.

San Juan for cheap and really fast Mexican food breakfast or lunch. We like Virginias every once in a while for on the water eating ( Drive to Snoopys or Docs for similar atmosphere and better food). Haven't been to many new places so curious to hear about places to check out. Coach's was good when we went for breakfast but small so there is always a wait.

Isabella's on property also good for fancy dinner. I also like to fill my cooler and drink beer at the 'Dunes' pool (no bar) at cinnamon shore and use the grills they have there instead of going to the full service pool and buying every beer (unless need to order food).

I like Venetian Hot Plate and Crazy Cajun. Trout Street is ok. I am not a Virginia's fan.

I love the Port A Beach Lodge for a dive beer and hamburger place. It is on the beach. The Gaff is fun for belt sander races. Shorty's (recently moved the whole building) is an iconic beer joint with pool tables. I like Fins but the Rib doesn't. I have heard the Black Marlin is good, but I've never been there.

Y'all are going to have a lot of fun!

Just got back ourselves for the first time in forever. Waits were crazy everywhere (45 min +) but we just took it in stride.
Trout street - least favorite. Food was average at best, but great views at sunset.
Grumbles - Atmosphere was fun and food was pretty good
Coaches - as said above a fun, but small little breakfast joint. They screwed up our order, but the waitress was cool about it and brought us free food to make up for it.
Lelo's - Hole in the wall, with good burgers. We're not seafood people so can't speak to that, but went here twice

Coach's, Blue Water Cowboy, The Gaff for Pizza, Tortugas, and Fin's are our regular stops

It was a rare day on Mustang today! Haven't seen water like this in a few years!

It was absolutely incredible this weekend.

Food is pretty good in Cinnamon Shores and spare yourself the horrible traffic there. We went investment shopping in Port A a few years ago and after a weekend of grief every trip to town, decided against it.

The water in Port A continues to be amazing. Clearest water we've seen in years. It's not too late to come visit our fun little island!

We even have coconuts washing up.
