It's been a while since I've actually had to park at DFW prior to catching a flight. We have an early Saturday AM flight coming up. What are your go to recommendations for parking or are they all about the same? TIA

I'll typically pre-book either Express or Terminal parking. The only downside to terminal parking, other than slightly higher cost, is if you check bags and fly back into a different terminal than you flew out of/parked at. For Express parking, it can be annoying to wait for the shuttle depending on how they're running on that particular day. On the rare occasion I book too late and all on-site parking is unavailable I'll book Park-N-Fly, which is fine.

What's the priority? Price or convenience?

Convenience if its not significantly higher cost. It's a 7am flight, so we will all be there early. Something easy would be preferred. But I also don't want to get back and be hopping around terminals. Flying out with United and back with American (DFW - ORD).

Prebook and get express. Or use express. It's what I do often. Pre booking can save you 25-50%

Valet is 35/day. I do it for work travel and it's incredibly convenient.

+1 for valet. Drop off car in 1 hr parking. Car is waiting for you when you arrive

I actually use FreedomPark and they'll do services while they have your car (car wash, oil change, inspection, etc)

Nice to have your ride waiting and someone to help load your bags with a washed car when you're back.

You'll be flying out of E and likely coming back into A or B. If you have checked bags, that's gonna suck. I hate waiting on that damn shuttle.

Instead of going out to baggage claim, take the sky link back to the terminal you parked then drive to the parking garage where baggage claim is and avoid the shuttle. You'll likely beat your bags there. You're welcome.

That's not a bad idea. Wife and kiddo can head to bags and I'll just drive by and grab them.

this is exactly what we do for our family of 4. works great. Typically we have too much luggage though with checked carseats so i'll park in the 1 hour parking out front of the baggage claim and go help the wife load up.

Appreciate the all the help and suggestions. I've become a bit more of an anxious traveler as I get older, so having plans is always helpful.
