Staying late April. Opinions?

Been to island # of times, so we know the island

It is a beautiful resort with amazing views. It is on my list to visit. I've had clients stay and thought it was wonderful. I do feel it's probably a 3-4 night resort as it is pretty quiet and smaller, but that is exactly what some people want. I actually do not think I've seen a single negative review from other travel agents about the resort. I know one of the other travel agents on here has stayed there.

The resort is very unique. Several of my clients have stayed here. I will be doing a 2nd stay in May. As a travel advisor there are not many resorts that I will stay twice as I want to experience new resorts. With that said I'm going back for a 2nd time. You will love it. Now I do have to say, I recommend this resort for the fit as there are 100 plus steps for the dock area to main lobby

Have you been on the trip to Isla Mujeras yet? I've done Impressions Moxche and am planning another trip in August and am trying to decide whether to go back to Moxche or do Isla Mujeras.

We really, really like Isla, and I like AIs in general, but I personally wouldn't do an AI on Isla. There's a ton of good, cheap food & drinks within short walking distance from the north side.

100% agree! I would definitely rather eat/drink at local spots and spend my days at North Beach. There are no good beaches on the south end of the island either. That's just me though… AI resorts are popular for a reason! Enjoy the island! It's our home away from home!

We stayed on Isla a few years ago and did an AI (place slips my mind at the moment) but it was cheap enough that we took advantage of AI with drinks, some breakfasts, snacks, and lunches but didn't feel guilty about going out for dinners, a couple lunches and drinks at some of the beach bars.

We will be at the Secrets Impressions tomorrow for 5 nights. High expectations!

Great accommodations, food was above par ( it's Mexico…) drinks were great, service and attention was spot on

I would stay again!

Ohhh. Views were unbelievable! Pools great, best area/views is the deck around the beach area.

That's for the review. Can you expand a little more on the food? I've seen some reviews online where they said it wasn't good. I'm just a redneck from rural Texas so I don't need a Michelin star experience, but I do like tasty food.

Let me clarify- Food is good. But if comparing to Houston or Dallas high end, it falls some. But we never had a bad meal. In fact one night our steak meal was damn legit!

The catamaran ride there/ back was great!
