I tried checking the other Paris threads on here but didn't see much, so thanks in advance.

Does anyone have any experience/recs on a day cruise/tour of the Seine River? I am nearly done planning out our Paris trip with 11 and 6 year old kids and thought this might be an option.

Not sure if you mean a full day type tour, but we just got back from there and did an hour long cruise that left from near the Effiel Tower, around Notre Dame, and back. It was a basic sightseeing cruise, on your left is... I'm sure all the companies are pretty similar and have similar times and options (drinks, dinner). We used Vedettes de Paris and it was enjoyable.

I think a nighttime cruise would be much better with the city lit up. We have done two tours with Bateaux Parisiens and had a good time on both. It was just a basic boat with a couple of vending machines though.

Sure, it's touristy, but yes, it's a great way to see the city. We enjoyed it and it's actually quite fun. The kids would like it.

Edit: I'm referring to the 1 hour city river cruise.
