Taking the family 15,17 daughters there down the road. We got a Star room or side of the resort I guess. Was just curious what some thoughts were. It's hard finding a good spot for the family with daughters this age and stuff for them to do.
It's sure a lot easier to find a place for adults only.

Thanks in

Yes, I've both sent clients to Planet Hollywood Cancun and visited myself, though it has been a few yearsprior to COVID. I haven't had anyone travel there recently, but I have heard that while some areas may be showing a bit of wear, it remains a decent choice for families, especially those with teens.

The resort offers a great mix of teen-friendly amenities like the FlowRider surf simulator, a lazy river, a movie theater, and several sports facilities. I think your choice of Star class will serve you wellit includes perks like a personal butler, priority dining reservations, access to an exclusive lounge, and dedicated beach agent services.

There are plenty of dining options on-site. While nothing particularly stood out as exceptional during my visit, families often enjoy Guy Fieri's Burger joint for its fun and casual vibe.

All in all, I think you'll have a good experience, especially with the added benefits of Star Class.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes we did get the Star. And my wife is more concerned about my daughter's having fun then anything else. I think we will be going back just us couple months after this trip so it should be a good time for our girls going to Mexico for the 1st time.

I think they will be fine. I don't feel like there is a ton of things for teens to do but they have nice pools, a great beach, mini golf and a few other things. Good lazy river. The water slide watch out - I hit my but hard on the bottom (pool needs to be deeper - but I'm not skinny).

Food was decent to good, although the most recent complaint I've heard is dinner reservations. It's been 3 years since I've stayed. Thought the beds were ridiculously comfy, even the sofa beds. We were in a Star Class Entourage suite, which had the sliding mirrored door between the bedroom area and living room and really liked that. In the Entourage room the sofa bed is darn near a king.

I had clients get back 2 weeks ago who loved it, however they were used to lower end resorts.

All in all it's a solid resort and sell it often.

We just returned home yesterday from Planet Hollywood and was our 4th time to go there in last 3 years. Our son iis 8 and enjoys it. We first visited this resort trying to find areas with less seaweed compared to many other areas iin Mexico and feel that area of Cancun definitely has less seaweed. The food is fine just like any other resort style all inclusive in Mexico I have ever stayed at (I've been going to Mexico probably annually for over 20 years now). Living in Houston, my expectations for "great" food in Mexico is zero. I travel to Mexico for the beach not to eat. The lazy river and beach should be good entertainment for your 15 year old. While the restaurant bookings are sometimes hard (it's like that at all the resorts), the food there is the same quality as the buffet so really doesn't matter. They have fresh shrimp, tacos, pasta etc on the buffet. Download the app and try to do early check in day or so prior to arriving. You may also be able to book places to eat couple days prior to arriving. Take the snorkel /Isla trip one day. Rent a golf cart on Isla and drive around.
