My wife and I will be traveling to Europe (Germany, Austria, Hungary) later this month, and we were wondering if anyone had a recommendation for reliable Android compatible Bluetooth trackers for our luggage.

If I'm understanding correctly, some of these trackers function within their own technological environment, and others function within the Google "Find My" network, but I'm not sure of the advantages or disadvantages of either, especially in Europe.

I've never used a tracker device before. Anyone have any recommendations?

I've never had to use any to really find a truly lost (out of my possession) or stolen thing.

However, I have both tile and Samsung smart tag 2.

The tile is louder.

They seem pretty much the same tbh just make sure you buy a version that allows you to change the batteries

Have you tracked bags on a trip with it to know where they went just out of curiosity?

Yup.....thats why I got it.....good friend of mine would have been without their bags for eons during the 2022 Christmas Southwest scheduling fiasco if he didn't have his tracked and I figured it was a good, inexpensive safeguard
