I will be on the Wish in 15 days. It is one of the newer ships with the Treasure and Destiny being the newest, I have clients love aspects of it and others not so much. If you are looking for an advisor with a lot of first hand insight my contact info is in my bio. I will be posting on my social channels from the Wish

I had 2 sets of clients on it this fall. Both really enjoyed it and had no complaints at all.

Did a four-day Bahamas cruise on Wish a couple of years ago and I'm not a fan of the new ships. Everything is crammed, the layout is terrible, does not have the classic ocean liner vibe that the four older ships kept.

No mid-ship elevators, no jogging track on the promenade deck as it does not stretch around the ship, the Marvels dinner show is a beating, not enough seating in the cafeteria in the mornings, sitting literally back-to-back with your neighboring tables at the other restaurants. A lot of these problems are due to the number of people they cram on the newer ships but it is what it is.

A positive is that the concierge lounge is massive (if you take that route) but again it gets crowded because there are so many concierge rooms on the Wish. The walk-up food outlets (Festival of Foods) is also a nice improvement.

How old are your kids? I think it is perfect for younger kids. We went with another family and parents when ours were like 4 and 10. It doesn't have like the waterslides and stuff that the older kids would enjoy. But I thought the food and service were really good. We didn't have the best weather and so the ship you could really feel movement. But we all had a great time. We ended up having like five cabins total between the 2 families.

I cruised the Magic this March out of Galveston a 6 night cruise. My girls are 11 and 10. I love the Magic even with it being the original Disney Cruise ship. The ease of driving down and being on the ship by lunch is great. My contact info is in my bio if you are looking for a travel advisor that specializes in Disney Travel

For late night it was only Tow Matter's, which is chicken tenders and other fried stuff, until 11pm and I think that pizza went to at least midnight. Not sure if Tow Matter's still stays open that late though.

Sure, we hardly ever used it over the years but room service also goes all night with some basic stuff (except the last night?).

Met a lot of couples that enjoy Disney cruises because of the adults only areas.

I've had adults do a Disney cruise without their kids. They do a good job with adult only activities for sure.

My kids loved the "Festival of Foods" on the pool deck. They would stop by Donald's Cantina (tacos and burrito bowls) and Mickey's Smokestack Barbeque (all sorts of BBQ options) on a daily basis.

Marceline Market is your standard Disney buffet. Make sure you are there for churro Mickey waffle day (usually last day at sea).

Worlds of Marvel, Arendelle, and 1923 are good restaurants. Food was best at 1923. Enjoy the experience and theme of each restaurant.

Going on the Disney Treasure in December. Have been on the Magic twice. First time during its inaugural year. Will just be myself and my wife. We will both be 76. Sounds old to cruise with Disney, but we prefer this line. Doing 4 days at WDW first.

Any experience with this boat or her sisters? We are doing the 7 days eastern Caribbean.

We did the Eastern Caribbean (St. Thomas, Tortola, Castaway Cay) cruise in July 2025. Loved the Disney Treasure. The ship is easy to get around, solid size adult deck, multiple movie theaters, and plenty of adult activities.

The Scat Cat Lounge and Haunted Mansion Parlor are pretty cool.

If there is a Remy restaurant on any Disney cruise you go on... I highly recommend it. Probably a Top 5 meal I have eaten believe it or not.

Pricey but worth it.

It will be called "Enchante" on the Disney Wish.

We really enjoyed the Magic when we went. I think my daughter was 4 at the time, but the adult areas were nice too. Overall had a good open feel. Nice thing was we went in January and they had the National Championship (Clemson/Bama) game on the deck so that was cool to watch under the stars.

Went on the Disney Magic for a November/December 2025 cruise out of Galveston, TX. If you are in Texas and want an easy Disney vacation, the Disney Magic is the way to go. You can park right next to the terminal. The Magic has some good shows and the ports of call have plenty of activities.

If anyone wants a quote, reach out to me.
