My wife and I are headed to Dominica next week for our honeymoon. We're staying at Secret Bay, Dominica . We plan to go hiking, tubing, and waterfall sight seeing a few of the days we are there. We can book through the resort, but I'm wondering if anyone has been and can recommend private tours that might save me a dollar or two.

The Fort Young in Dominica has really been doing a lot of dive promotions. I don't know how good the diving is there. I know it is an "in town hotel" with no beach or water sports activities. Kids Sea Camp goes there, but I wonder if it's a place we will actually go to, when they also do a KSC in St. Lucia.

The beach resorts will likely have black sand beaches, if I'm not mistaken.

I'll be interested to hear how you like Dominica. It's on my list of Caribbean gettaways one of these days.
